Our Company
Who We Are
Why was TEAM MEDIC Formed?
Team Medic was established in 2011 to fill a crucial gap in the market for reliable and professional event medical cover in the British American Football scene. Since then, we’ve expanded rapidly, delivering trusted medical services across a wide range of sporting events and beyond. Customers quickly recognised our commitment to proactive, high-quality care, and our reputation as a nationwide medical service provider grew.
Today, this family-run business delivers comprehensive event medical cover across the UK. We support sporting events, community gatherings, TV and film productions, corporate functions, and school festivals.
In 2017, Team Medic achieved registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), enabling us to provide non-emergency patient transport services and frontline emergency support for the NHS. Being CQC-registered ensures our clients receive services backed by rigorous healthcare standards, offering assurance in the quality of our governance, staff, processes, and medical equipment.
Our Team
At Team Medic, we prioritise exceptional customer service, with our medical services designed to deliver a seamless and positive client experience. Our mission is to create lasting relationships built on integrity, honesty, and an unwavering commitment to quality care.
Our experienced office team brings expertise across management, logistics and operations, pre-hospital treatment, post-hospital care, and compliance. This diverse knowledge ensures we provide efficient, professional, and reliable event medical cover and patient transport services tailored to client needs.
We believe our strong reputation and trusted brand are a direct result of the dedication of our highly skilled staff. Their efforts have been integral in building the reliability and professionalism that Team Medic is recognised for today, supporting clients across corporate events, community functions, and the wider healthcare system alongside the NHS.
Marion Palumbo, Managing Director and Registered Manager
Professional background – Team Medic Managing Director
I am the Managing Director, Registered Manager and one of the co-founders of Team Medic.
I have an engineering background, and initially worked for Emcor and First Engineering before joining Network Rail in 2007 as Maintenance Facilitator. I was promoted in 2009 to Facilities Delivery Manager, which was the first time a woman had ever held this position in the UK.
In 2011 I was promoted again to Station Manager of Cannon Street and London Bridge. A key achievement within this role was successfully facilitating transport logistics, which underpinned the success of the 2012 Olympic Games.
Within my professional career I’ve been responsible for compliance, managing complex teams and £40 million project budgets. The skills I developed in these roles have enabled me to make crucial judgement calls in safety-critical environments, which I now use at Team Medic to help develop and grow the business.
Hobbies and interests
I love travelling, swimming, athletics, surfing and yoga. I am also a qualified yoga teacher.
Personal and professional values
I have many values in life but the main ones for me are: possessing a positive attitude, being adaptable and authentic in all situations, and constantly developing my emotional intelligence skills.
What I enjoy most about working for Team Medic
I love the team that runs the business. They are dedicated, hard-working and just generally great people to work with.

Action without vision is only passing time, vision without action is merely day dreaming, but vision with action can change the world.
Clive Palumbo, Compliance and Commercial Director
Professional background – Team Medic Business Development
I have been working for Team Medic since its inception in 2011, and was tasked to grow the event side of the business as well as establishing a compliance framework for our CQC registration.
My professional background includes working in the finance industry, but I later specialised as an SME Business Advisor. I hold a History degree from Birkbeck, University of London, and I am also a qualified First Aid Instructor.
Hobbies and interests
I am a very keen sportsman, and I specifically love watching the NFL. I attend the gym daily and have recently started playing football with the local dads.
Personal and professional values
My personal values revolve around my immediate family. My wife is one of five, so a big family was always on the cards. Professionally, I believe in business integrity and making good on promises. My business values are the Three Ps – People, Product, Price.
What I enjoy most about working for Team Medic
The variety of work and different situations keep us on our toes, and no two days are the same. I specifically love business development and forming new relationships with stakeholders and potential customers.
